What with all the upgrades and extra features on this years RN1, we wanted to make sure the United Recruit RN2 2013 remained accessible to a beginner rider, who may be looking for a something a little different. The United top load stem combined with the slightly longer top tube length make this an option for someone who may grow out of the RN1 too quickly. Adding high end features such as colour matched spokes and graphics, tapered forks, and slimline tubular cromo heat treated cranks along with our attention to detail in every area, give this bike both style and durability.
Following up on the 2012 SU1 was not going to be easy, but it has pushed us to focus on every detail and make the United Supreme SU1 2013 our best yet. All 20″ bikes in the Supreme line have brand new 4 pawl fully sealed bearing cassette hubs that sound amazing and have taken some serious abuse in testing. 2.25″ United Swerve tyres in the front and rear, improved more responsive frame geometry, a sealed female bolt front hub, larger 8.5″ x 28.5″ bars, new flangeless grips and finer details such as a slim sunken fork top cap all decorated with colours inspired by our pro team.
When you reach the United Supreme SU3 2013 you are after an ultimate ride, and this year we took another step towards achieving that. Making a bike this high in the line accessible to as many different riders was key, so including a left/right switchable cassette hub of the finest quality means that no matter what way you ride, this bike will be suited to you.
